Swimming Lessons

We have had the kids in swimming lessons for about 3 weeks now. This has been great to get them in the water and learning something new. Lexie started all this being able to float on her back but not much else. Now she already can swim across a smaller section of the pool all by herself and is able to do it very well. Amazing! She is in the next level class now and completely loving it!

Joshua throws those poor teachers for a loop because he loves to just jump and go underwater eyes and mouth wide open with a smile and "swimming" around under water until he is ready then stands up.The poor teacher turns around wondering if she just lost a kid or what! He is a fish and loves the water...no fear.

we got the kids some new goggles and here they are sporting off their new look ( in the car on the way to swim lessons.)

Joshua "borrowed" these boots from our neighbor, they are about 5 sizes too big but he would not take them off the entire day until bed. At which time I hid them until I could return them. He also got some snorkel gear which He got himself into, who's ready to go swimming?
