Safety Fair and Sportsmans Expo

Lexie, Josh and I went to the safety fair a few weeks back. The kids enjoyed seeing Smokey the Bear, some Star Wars storm troopers, Geoffery the Girraffe, and many other characters. They got balloon animals made for them and got lots of candy and played games they had fun and took a good nap later. Yahoo!

The following week Russ's work had a booth at the Sportsman's Expo and we went a couple of times. Josh got to "go fishing" and Lexie climbed the rock wall; she gets 2 ft from the bell at the top and quits every time. I am proud of her for being brave and climbing it.

They got to hold a baby Black Bear that was there and get a pic taken (still have to scan that) I went another day and took our dog to try dock jumping with the company Splash Dogs that was there. My poor Suzy went up the ramp and then basically hugged it, she was not going anywhere or doing anything..at the end she did get into the pool. It was fun watching dogs of all sizes and breeds jumping after their favorite toy into the water.
