Christmas Celebrations for 2008
For Christmas Eve we always go celebrate with the Jones side. We have a potluck dinner and the kids have all traded names for gifts to give. Lexie got two (handmade) Beautiful dresses for Christmas and Joshua got this great little tractor that has a remote control, they were both SOOO excited. Then the kids get to all go off and play with their new treasures. The adults then do a white elephant gift and it is always fun to see the crazy things and the beautiful things others bring to trade. It is so great to spend this time with family and we always have a wonderful time. When we get home we open one gift, the christmas pajama's which I made for our two children with my own two hands(just like my mom use to do). They were excited, I made Lexie a pj gown and Joshua some "froggy" pj's they turned out nice if I do say so myself..

On Christmas morning we went downstairs to see the many treasures Santa has brought the kids...It is so much fun to see their excitement and the joy in each and every item they get. Makes you want to count all your many blessings..
The kids both got many books for christmas, when Joshua opened this one he immediately sat down and started to "read" it to us...so cute.

After opening all of our wonderful gifts we then went to celebrate with my side of the family...after moving a bit of snow....good thing for modern conveniences like a snow blower!

Once we finally arrived we had our traditional Christmas breakfast together. This year my brother moved back to Utah (one week ago) so it was nice to have them here to celebrate with us.
This next pic is my brother and his son Ethan...
