Tag Joshua is IT
Rylee tagged Joshua so, here are five things we love about Joshua...
1. His determination. Always wanting to learn to do things on his own, or to do what everybody else does especially his big sister. He has been dressing himself since before he was 2, cleans his room when asked, wants to help with the dishes, cooking, working on a car with dad, he wants to do it all. It amazes me daily what a little guy like him can accomplish.
2. I tell Josh "show me your sweet smile" and on cue he can give the most innocent sweet smile ever! I love it. He can make me laugh in an instant and finds joy in most things. He shows such excitement when he sees people he knows, yelling out their name at the top of his lungs and running with a big grin. He can cheer people up very quickly that way.
3.Always a surprise. ie. we went to my nieces baptism today. While singing songs and waiting he starts singing loud(no words just noise).After our neice came out from the water he yells "in the water". And while getting ready for the confirmations they asked which of the two children wanted to be confirmed first? Josh yells"me first". following with while the confirmations were being done joshua folds his arms reverently and says" jesus christ, bless the food, amen".
4.Joshua has a love for animals, I think he gets that mostly from his mom. He loves to be around them, hug them, help take care of them, and play with them. He usually does really well with the dogs and cats we have, only sometimes he basically tackles them to give them a "hug".
5. I enjoy seeing the world a little bit through Joshua's eyes. The world is so different thru a childs view...Big things aren't that big a deal anymore, the little things so much more important. He loves to sit and play tea party with his sister, to throw a ball in the back yard for the dogs, to jump "up-high" on the trampolene, have mommy read a book or to play catch with his daddy. We are truely blessed.
